READY TO LISTEN

Why we keep notes11 min · On device

Someday is not another feed asking for attention.

It is one quiet place for the reading you already decided matters.

One library. Two ways back in.

Read when you can.
Listen when you can’t.

Someday does not reduce every article to audio. It keeps the original reading experience intact and makes listening a second, equally considered way through.

How we learn to pay attention

Attention is less a resource to spend than a relationship we keep renewing with the world.

What we notice becomes the texture of a life.

A reader that respects the text.

Clean typography, restored progress, headings, lists, quotes and code—plus type controls and optional focus sounds when you want to stay with a piece.

Audio made on your iPhone.

Someday prepares natural narration locally, shows honest extraction and recording progress, then keeps the finished audio ready for offline listening.

Bring your own reading

It should fit the way things actually reach you.

Share from the browser, paste a link, choose a PDF, recognise text from screenshots, or connect the places where reading already accumulates.

Gentler listening for the end of the day, with sleep-friendly stories and a player designed to recede instead of demand.

Bring your own Gemini key for generated formats. Standard article and PDF reading, extraction and local narration remain useful without one.

Local-first by design

Your reading does not need to become somebody else’s dataset.

Source text, reading progress, narration and generated audio live on your iPhone. Someday does not require a Someday account or a Someday-hosted reading-data server.

Straight answers

Before you make room for another app.

Can Someday work without a Gemini key?

Yes. Importing, focused reading, local cleanup and standard on-device article or PDF narration work without Gemini. A key is needed for generated formats such as Brief and Conversation.

Does Gmail mean Someday can read my entire inbox?

The integration is read-only and designed around newsletter senders you select. Someday imports recent messages from those sources as reading items; it is not an email client or mailbox migration.

Can I read the original instead of listening?

Yes. Read is a first-class part of Someday, with an article-focused unread/read library, reading progress, typography controls and a focused reader.

Is finished audio available offline?

Yes. Once created, audio is stored on your iPhone for offline playback.
