Your reading stays yours.

What Someday does

Someday turns saved articles and PDFs into text and offline audio on your iPhone. Someday does not require a Someday account and does not operate a Someday-hosted reading-data server.

Data stored on your device

Someday stores the sources you save, extracted and normalized text, processing status, playback position, preferences, voice selections, generated audio, and optional integration tokens on your device. Tokens are stored in Apple Keychain where applicable. You can delete saved items and downloaded audio from the app.

Optional services

Gemini enhancement

The rewrite stage is optional. If you configure your own Gemini-compatible key, Someday sends article text to Google’s Gemini endpoint for text cleanup or generated formats such as Brief and Conversation. Audio synthesis remains on-device. If no key is configured, Someday uses deterministic local cleanup.

Gmail

If you connect Gmail, Someday requests read-only access to retrieve selected newsletter messages. Gmail access tokens are stored locally and can be disconnected in Settings. Someday does not send, edit, or delete Gmail messages.

Raindrop.io

If you connect Raindrop.io, Someday uses the token you provide to read selected bookmarks. The token is stored locally and can be removed in Settings. Someday does not modify or delete Raindrop bookmarks.

Source websites

When you add a link, Someday retrieves the source so it can extract the article. The source publisher may receive normal web requests. Someday does not add advertising or tracking to those requests.

Analytics and tracking

Someday does not include advertising identifiers, cross-app tracking, analytics SDKs, or third-party ad networks.

Retention and deletion

Local content remains until you delete it or remove the app. Disconnecting Gmail or Raindrop removes the stored integration token. If you have a privacy question or need help removing local data, use the support route listed on the Support page.

Changes

We may update this policy as Someday changes. The date above will show when it was last revised.

This policy is product documentation, not legal advice. Replace the support placeholder and have the final policy reviewed before App Store submission.
